This much anticipated, purpose-built hospital is a highly technical project that will house state-of-the-art facilities which have been uniquely designed to treat children in one centralised space in Newtown.

The hospital will be spread across three floors with 50 beds and 21 clinical rooms.  Situated at the northern end of the Wellington campus and will connect to the Regional Hospital via a link bridge.

The project was made possible by a generous $50m donation from 2017 Wellingtonian of the Year, Mark Dunajtschik and is scheduled to open in 2021.
