This Food Research Facility will house 140 staff and students from AgResearch and Massey University. The new facility will have a food Pilot Plant, Laboratories and shared spaces for education and research into meat and dairy in a three storey, 5000 square metre building that will be New Zealand’s largest agri-food innovation centre.
Construction commenced in February 2018 with completion due in November 2019, the building is now structurally complete and enclosed. With the fitout of the PC2 Laboratories, and Food Pilot Plant commencing along with the extensive services first fix.
