Sonja Bakker, Registered Clinical Psychologist, will be talking about stress and how to introduce some practical techniques to build resilience and self care.
Sonja will talk about what stress is, what things in our lives that can cause us stress, and what impact stress can have on our bodies. She will explore some of the ways we may react and respond to stress and how this can mentally and physically manifest for us. She will explore several practical tools and strategies that we could draw upon to assist us in acknowledging and coping with stress as well as building our self care.
