Regional Branch

A Regional branch was established in 2020, alongside the other 5 main branches: Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, Otago and International.

 NZIQS members living outside the 4 main cities are members of the Regional Branch. Like other branches, the Regional Branch:

• has an Annual Meeting (usually held online)
• elects a Regional Branch Commitee to provide a voice to and from the NZIQS Board on regional matters
• appoints a Regional Board representative to the NZIQS Board for a 2-year term (selected from the Regional Branch Commiteee members).

 2022 Annual Meeting

The 2022 Regional Annual Meeting on 7 June will cover:

1. report from the current NZIQS Board representative, Rua Sargent
2. report on Regional membership and financial information for the last financial year
3. election of the 2022-2023 Regional Branch Committee
4. any other items of General Business raised by members
