Like all industries, the construction sector is digitising – both out on site, and in the back-office, and in New Zealand.
Wellington companies LawHawk and a local construction company recently won a World Commerce & Contracting Award for Operational Improvement for their work to automate the preparation and signing of the Master Builders SA-2017 subcontract. The project reduced weeks of time to less than a day. Quality is better, risks are reduced, and staff and subcontractors are happier too.
Gene & Phil will give a presentation on their particular project, as well as other automation initiatives in the construction sector including:
· Engineering NZ and ACE NZ’s producer statements
· 3910
· Consultancy agreements
· The rise of “no code” software, putting the power in the hands of subject matter experts and “citizen developers”
· Where it is all heading, and what it could mean for quantity surveyors.
