We are now frequently required to explain their work in an understandable way when giving an expert opinion in a variety of formal situations, such as public meetings and in a legal dispute.

These two one day courses are ideal preparation for those called upon to give their Expert Opinion

Part One: How to effectively formulate and record your Expert Opinion, will cover

  • Resource consent hearings
  • Earthquake insurance claims
  • Local authority and public meetings
  • Multidisciplinary meetings and enquiries
  • Arbitrations
  • Environment Court
  • District and High Court

Part Two: How to effectively speak to your Expert Opinion, will cover

  • Witness statements
  • Briefs of evidence
  • Mediations
  • Expert meetings (including recording of such meetings)
  • Presenting before a decision maker
