ICEC International Construction Measurement Standards Webinar

Your Computer

3:00 AM

NZIQS members are encouraged to register for this free webinar to learn more about the use of ICMS to achieve global cost consistency. Although it is being held at 2pm UK time, members who register will be able to receive the recording after the webinar.

Alan Muse, Global Director of Built Environment Standards RICS, will be delivering his experience of project and cost management from an international view point, and offering guidance on how consistency can be met globally with the support of International Construction Measurement Standards (ICMS). The floor will then be open to questions on challenges you may be facing on this topic or questions specific to the ICMS.

As property, construction and infrastructure projects continue to be increasingly global, there is a real need for International consistency in something as fundamental as construction cost classification and control. Historically, these processes have followed local and regional custom and practice, which has made comparison across the world more difficult, leading to confusion, uncertainty and lack of confidence from key stakeholders.
