NZIOB Southern Chapter Education Fund Presents an evening with mental health advocate Mike King.

Mental health in the construction industry is a very real issue, but one we don't like to talk about.  This event aims to raise awareness, reduce the stigma of mental illness, and support our building and construction industry.

Mike is passionate about raising the awareness of mental health in New Zealand and through sharing his own struggles with his inner critic, he allows people to recognise that everyone has problems and that it is ok to ask for help.  Mike's work with various companies and industries is helping to break down barriers and reduce the stigma and taboo attitude associated with mental illness.

The event will include the presentation and drinks, nibbles and an opportunity to network afterwards.

Tickets are $35 per person with all proceeds raised going to the NZIOB Southern Chapter Education Fund.
