Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
Due to ongoing growth we are looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our Christchurch Commercial team, supporting some of the South Island’s most interesting and challenging commercial construction projects.
We are an international consultancy practice providing specialist cost, sustainability, facilities management and technical advisory consultancy services to the property, construction, and infrastructure sectors.

What We Require You will have a good grounding in Quantity Surveying and Cost Management and have a natural ‘Can Do’ attitude that will take you far. You will have the requisite skills to support the senior staff and Director to meet deliverables on a wide range of projects. We are looking for someone who is driven to succeed and enjoys working with others.
Role Requirements You will be expected to provide support to the senior staff and Director, across all aspects of Quantity Surveying, including feasibility studies, cost plans and estimates, Schedules (Bills) of Quantities, procurement, and pre/post contract administration. The ideal candidate will have a good track record in helping to deliver a range of commercial projects, such as office, retail, health, civic, residential etc. A natural ability to work across multiple projects as required.
Salary Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.
Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying 3+ Years Post Qualification Experience, PQS preferred RICS / NZIQS or similar professional qualification preferred but is not essential.
Experience / Skills Required Capacity to problem solve, use initiative and be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and cohesively as part of a team. Strong communications skills (written and verbal) and interaction with colleagues, clients and other consultants. Ability and desire to progress. Excellent management and collaboration skills within a team environment. Professional presentation, punctual, attention to detail and flexible. Suitable MS Office suite and CostX experience.
