Carl Munkowits - Chief Financial Officer, The Fletcher Construction Company Ltd.
In his 25 years with Fletcher, Carl has put to good use his initial tertiary studies and pre-career experiences.
A business degree, chartered accounting qualifications, a teacher’s diploma and the assorted skills required to juggle both a commercial role in The City of London and surfing expeditions to North Africa have all been blended into a solid basis on which Carl has built his current role. For more than a decade he has had responsibility for the financial and HR aspects of what is purportedly the largest and leading contractor in the country.
In his address Carl will discuss Risk Management the absence of which has seen the exhilarating rise and calamitous downfall of many international institutions. Being a bean counter may be seen as boring to many but in business, it’s all about the money!
