Building Act review - Your comments
The Government is proposing a number of options for reform of the Building Act 2004, set out in the discussion document http://www.dbh.govt.nz/UserFiles/File/Consulting/pdf/Cost-effective-quality-BAR-discussion-document.pdfdated 26 February 2010.
Without compromising safety and quality, the proposals are aimed at making it easier and cheaper for New Zealanders to build dependable-quality, cost-effective homes and buildings. http://www.dbh.govt.nz/consulting-on-building-act
The closing date for your comments to DBH is 23 April 2010.
