If you retire from quantity surveying work, you can use the post nominal that shows the level of membership from which you retired.
What's the definition of a Retired Member?
A Retired Member is a person who:
- has been a Member (MNZIQS), Associate (ANZIQS) or Fellow (FNZIQS) and
- has retired from quantity surveying and no longer does quantity surveying work (but may be active in another career).
As a Retired Member you can use the post nominals MNZIQS (Retired) if you were a qualified member, ANZIQS (Retired) if you were an Associate Member, or FNZIQS (Retired) if you were a Fellow.
